What will you be doing?
We are seeking an exceptional DevOps leader to spearhead the expansion of our technical operations. As we scale our business, we're looking to transform our current DevOps function into a robust operation. The successful candidate will join our existing DevOps Engineer in establishing scalable processes, implementing additional tooling, and automation.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of our DevOps practices. We're seeking a seasoned Lead or Senior DevOps Engineer who can bring their expertise in building high-performing teams and implementing industry best practices. You'll champion DevOps culture, and build a foundation for excellence in our DevOps operations.

Knowledge of:
Tech stack: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Cloud Logging, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), GIT Workflows, Bitbucket and Bitbucket Pipelines or other CI/CD platforms, Snyk, SonarCloud, Microservices, Kafka, Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience: GCP, CICD, IaC, containerization, site reliability, security, compliance, automation, disaster recovery, firewalls, networking, load balancer, databases, monitoring, caching, alerting, Configuration and Secret Management.
Good to have: Either coding or scripting experience.
Tools: Kubernetes, Docker and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, HiveMQ) or similar Queuing Technology, Prometheus, Grafana, BetterStack, OpsGenie, and Status Page.
Soft skills: Leadership, mentoring, stakeholders management, problem-solving, strategic thinking, cultural leadership, and self-starter.

Job requirements
What do you bring to the table?
3 or more years as a Senior DevOps Engineer or Lead DevOps Engineer.
A background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering (or demonstrable practical experience). We will consider someone that doesn't have a degree, and has a proven track record of DevOps experience over a number of years.
Experience working for a Financial Technology company, in particular either a Payment Gateway, Issuer, Card Scheme, Issuer Processor, or Bank/Acquirer that has strict security and compliance regulations. i.e. PCI-DSS.
Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
Taking ownership, analytical thinking and a problem-solving mindset.
