Your challenge at Payter
Payter client portals form a centralised and critical component of everything the business
delivers, so it is not only responsible for it’s own features and benefits, but is also a
required supporting tool for all other products & services. As Product Manager/Owner of
Client Portals at Payter, you will be responsible for working with a diverse group of
people from all parts of the business, as well as our valued clients and partners, to
capture and define the requirements of Payter’s client portal(s), translate those into a
solution design, prioritised deliverables, a development roadmap and ultimate delivery.

In this position you can work from the UK or from the Netherlands and you will work a lot remotely.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Gain a full understanding of the existing products using your knowledge and experience of managing similar solutions in the past and plan a high-level overhaul plan. Everything from UI design, accessibility and access control, to feature categorisation and detailed content and capabilities all needs to be understood and potentially redesigned;

  • Work with multiple stakeholders to capture requirements and wish-lists and
    incorporate those into an appropriately prioritised development roadmap. This will
    be an ongoing, evolving process;

  •  Determine your MVP for the first iteration of the replacement solution and define
    detailed requirements for the development teams to get things underway,
    including wireframe designs and clear user-story based requirements;

  • Establish a suitable cadence to keep the team fed with clearly defined updating
    requirements and progress moving forwar;

  • Interact with developers on a constant basis to ensure that their needs are met,
    and the resulting output is everything you dreamed it could be;

  • Contribute to communication by presenting regular progress reports and
    interactive demonstrations and ultimately providing content to our Technical
    Author to help develop comprehensive user guides, videos and other material;

  • Work closely with other Product Managers and stakeholders to ensure that Portal
    dependencies required to support other developments are incorporated and
    delivered in-line with those projects as part of a total go-to-market view.
