Compliance Officer

Job description

As a Compliance Officer, you are responsible for safeguarding and improving the quality and reliability of products, processes, and systems across the organization. You play a key role in developing and enforcing quality policies, conducting audits, and initiating improvement projects in collaboration with various teams.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Develops policies, procedures and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations

  • Monitor and improve the reliability of new product development processes and testing processes to ensure quality

  • Develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 family of standards), quality audits/review, Taguchi methods, process reengineering, etc.

  • Actively participating in meetings with development and other teams

  • Organizing process and product audits

  • Processing information in the quality management system

  • Preparing quality management reports

  • Training employees

  • Conducting periodic audits of company procedures and processes

Job requirements

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in compliance, audit, or regulatory oversight—preferably in a regulated industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, energy).

  • Experience in managing relationships with regulatory bodies (e.g., financial supervisory authorities, data protection agencies).

  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, financial regulations, or sector-specific compliance frameworks.

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to deliver complex information in a clear and structured way.

  • High level of integrity, independence, and sound judgment.
