Your challenge at Payter

As an Accounts Receivable & Payable Specialist, you will collaborate with various disciplines and departments within the organization. You will be responsible for managing both the accounts receivable and accounts payable administration of the organization. You play a crucial role in maintaining healthy financial relationships with both customers and suppliers. Your tasks include, but are not limited to:


Accounts Receivable:

  • Checking and sending out outgoing invoices.
  • Processing incoming payments and ensuring correct allocation to outstanding invoices.
  • Following up on outstanding debtor positions through telephone and written communication.
  • Managing disputes and complaints related to outstanding receivables.


Accounts Payable:

  • Checking and processing incoming invoices and expense claims.
  • Align creditor transactions with purchase orders and receipts.
  • Maintaining contacts with suppliers regarding invoice reconciliation and payment terms.
  • Managing creditor inquiries and resolving any disputes.


General tasks:

  • Contributing to improving administrative processes related to accounts receivable and accounts payable management.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and procurement, to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of administration.
  • Complying with legal requirements and internal policies regarding financial administration.

  • Minimum of an MBO diploma in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable management within an organization.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and experience with accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in Dutch and English.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement.
